My trimalleolar ankle fracture landed me in Roland's office in October 2024. I had no idea even where to begin with how to manage this recovery. Roland was knowledgeable with this type of injury. He was able to guide me with all of my questions and frustrations through the upcoming months. I needed PT after core muscle surgery in May of 2024 and Roland at Gunks PT was excellent. He is very knowledgeable and thorough and unlike any other PT I have ever done, sessions are one on one which is GREAT!!! I was back to cycling, running and swimming only 8 weeks after surgery. Highly recommend Roland and Gunks Physical Therapy.
With a history of moderate spinal stenosis, I developed some moderate arthritis in my hip and sciatica in one leg. My goal in working with Roland was to develop an exercise plan that would address both issues. In seven weeks, through a process of trial and error, I now have a series of exercises that I can incorporate easily into my daily life, using the simplest aides (pillow, bands, belt) and no equipment.
