I am so lucky to found Roland Alley. I had been misdiagnosed by many people and had been in pain for years. He corrected the diagnosis, gave me some simple exercises to do and I am now pain free. He is wonderful and changed my life! I highly recommend him!
Once in awhile I find a medical practitioner who is far above and beyond others. Dr. Roland Alley, of Gunks Physical Therapy in New Paltz, always spent a full hour with me alone. We repeatedly went over my specific issues, looked at my x-rays, and reviewed the x-ray radiologist's report. He then put together a protocol for me, adjusting each exercise according to my abilities. We talked about how to move, walk, and lift. My trimalleolar ankle fracture landed me in Roland's office in October 2024. I had no idea even where to begin with how to manage this recovery. Roland was knowledgeable with this type of injury. He was able to guide me with all of my questions and frustrations through the upcoming months.
