So disappointed in Gullah Gourmet at Savannah Christmas Made in the South. In the very first day just a few hours in, they were out of so many things! Not one item of She Crab Soup, 1 Tata, Crab and Shrimp Boil, and Splat! They blamed it on over selling in Macon but they're out on their website, too! But, after a $10 parking fee and a $9 entrance fee, they are happy to mail you some when they are back in stock...if you're willing to pay for the shipping. They lost a fan.
I love the shrimp and grits! We make these all the time at home! Better than many restaurants!
Not great, I expected more and was deeply disappointed
All of the negative reviews is one race attacking another race. What are they doing to preserve the history and the Gullah culture? Nothing. Aside from coming on here and bashing a business for preserving the history. Do better haters! Better yet get up from behind your phones and do something to honor, respect, and help preserve the Gullah culture and ancestors. You won’t tho.
When is the name going to be changed? It’s disrespectful to all of the Geechie and Gullah people to have a non black person profit off our history
