I thought I was overthinking it until I read these reviews. This branch definitely has racist employees. They are definitely trained to judge people and turn them around based on certain things. I’ve open 99 accounts in my life and I’ve NEVER been told I couldn’t open an account because I raised red flags. Wonderful bank! I used to go to this ban with my grandparents when I was a kid, as far back as when it was People's Bank. They are still the friendly, personable people they were back then. I have had mostly good experiences with GCB, even what I find annoying, is actually a good experience if I am honest. My card has been put in compromised status on a couple of occasions by the bank.
