Guild Mortgage is violating the law. They are refusing to remove PMI. By law, PMI is supposed to be AUTOMATICALLY removed from conventional mortgages when the balance reaches 78% of the original value of the property. Guild is refusing to remove PMI from our mortgage even though we paid it down below 78% of the original value.
My wife and I could not be more pleased by the service and expertise demonstrated by the good people of Guild Mortgage. Joey was on top of every single detail throughout the entire home-buying process. Hopefully, we won’t need a lender again for many years, but if we do, I’ll be back. Thanks again, Joey!
