Our experience at Guidepost Williamsburg was incredible. Our son attended school here for 2 years from age 2 until age 4. His time in the toddler classroom with Ms. Danielle was nurturing, supportive, and our son gained so much independence during this time. After her classroom, he spent a year in the Children's House Spanish Immersion program with Mr. Pablo. My son attended Guidepost from age 1 to 2.5 and had an incredible experience! We only parted ways because we were leaving the city and we were so sad to say goodbye. The space is huge and bright with large windows- a rare find for Brooklyn - but we also loved how much outside time the children were given. The guides are top notch, responsive, kind, and nurturing, and the administration under Michelle was wonderful. We highly recommend this school for any child!
My daughter Isabella has been going to Guidepost since May of 2024 and the experience has been AMAZING! the staff is great, I saw changes in my daughters behavior in less than a week. I have been recommending Guidepost Montessori to every parent I meet.
We couldn’t recommend Guidepost more! As a parent, it’s a bit unsettling to send your child to his first school, but Guidepost made it easy for us and our son. He attended the Young Toddler program at 20 months, then grew into the Toddler program until 3. He quickly went from speaking a few words at home to speaking full sentences, and he learned independence, manners, and friendship. The person calling me back to give me information coughed on the phone (in my ear) repeatedly without once saying “excuse me” or “pardon”! Also quite rude, 1st thing she asks is “are you looking for public school…” feeling a bit confused I say…”no?
