There is constant teacher turnover and the location is at a challenging and extremely dangerous intersection. It doesn’t help that the company is tanking into bankruptcy. Please google Guidepost Montessori closures and save yourself the headache of showing up to drop your kid off only to find an eviction notice on the door.

Full disclosure, I was nervous about the poor reviews that appeared about guidepost a few years ago. I am happy to report that whatever issues GP was facing back then have been completely remediated (there was a big changeover with administration staff). My son has been thriving at GP. Anyone who is lucky enough to get into the Spanish immersion class with ms. Antonella, ms. Yvonne, and ms. Laila should consider themselves extremely lucky. We absolutely love Guidepost Montessori—the school, the staff, and everything about it! From the warm morning welcome at the front desk by Mrs. Yifu and Mrs. Tiffany to the comforting hugs from his classroom teachers, Mrs. Zahala and Ms. Dayna, we always feel reassured that our son is in the best possible hands. Our 20 month old toddler LOVES this school. The teachers and admin are amazing. It’s a well balanced day and when I say “loves” I truly mean it. At the end of the day he doesn’t want to leave and often wants us to go into the classroom with him or goes back in the classroom to see what the teachers are doing. The other nice thing is the school has few breaks so there aren’t too many days you need additional childcare if all the adults in your household work. My daughter has been attending for a year and a half in the Spanish Immersion program. She has gone from 0 Spanish to a lot in such a short time, and she is only 3! We will be enrolling my son shortly when they open the baby classroom. I think that the education is well worth the cost.
