We paid a $3,100 deposit in October 2025 for Guidepost Montessori to reserve an infant spot for a May 1, 2026 start. Our daughter was never enrolled and never attended a single day. 10 months later, we were still fighting to get our money back. During the ownership transition to Illuminate, the campus went under a state enrollment freeze and could not admit new students. Updating our review because families deserve to know how this ended. The care our child received was fine. Our experience after leaving has been anything but. Guidepost incorrectly charged us for an extra month of tuition and never returned our original security deposit, leaving more than $5,000 owed to our family. The staff is not montessori trained. You would assume they would be because this is a guidepost montessori school, no? Look them up. These people are not qualified and it shows. Why pay so much for unqualified teachers and caregivers? Kate is fine. Kavina and Maria are eh. Mia is terrible. They are on their phones. Probably on social media. Watch out, don't enroll unless you're okay with glorified babysitters.

My wife and I put our daughter Amara recently in this school. The teachers and head of school are all very kind and capable care givers. Kavina, Maria, Kate & Mia are all fantastic.

We absolutely love J.L., head of the Nido program. Her dedication to the development of our son, along with attention to his personal needs, makes us feel confident leaving him with Guidepost each day. Thank you for creating such a great environment!
