Awesome school & staff here!!
It just came out on the news that a teacher hit a kid in the face at this location after loosing her cool. Absolutely unacceptable! Our kids should not get hit under any circumstances! Do a better job when choosing who you hire!
We were one of the founding families of this school. Initially the experience was great, however leadership changes in Spring 2024 caused significant staff turnover. Unfortunately it is not possible to add more details here (the review will be blocked otherwise).
We’ve been fortunate to have compassionate and skilled teachers for the last year + that my sons have been enrolled at Guidepost Deerpark. However, leadership has failed the school in countless ways over the last several months. Nearly the entire teacher staff has left since leadership changed months ago. We lost so many incredibly skilled and caring staff members. Most people at this school don’t have Montessori training or experience at this time. My son has attended guidepost since they opened in 2023. He is extremely happy here and has really thrived from the Montessori method. We love Ms. Mariyana and the entire staff. Like all day cares, there is turnover and issues arise but guidepost has always made us feel at ease. We feel very comfortable talking to all staff and making sure our son is taken care of.
