Beware!!! I returned an item (that did not fit me) according to their directions. No notice of receiving it and no response to inquiries by phone and email- and, of course, no refund. Finally resolved by my credit card company (Chase, thank you). Don't know if Chase was reimbursed- still no communication from Guideboat. The worst.

Guideboat sells traditional clothing items at a premium price. Quality is, generally speaking, high. Over the past several years I have purchased maybe a dozen different items--mostly sweaters and shirts. Something does, however, need to be said about their 'customer service'. THIS COMPANY WILL NOT REFUND YOU. I spent a lot of money over a few years with Guideboat; they and a couple other online retailers were my go-to's for unique and high-quality gifts. It had been a great resource for me, until... On Dec 20, 2019, I received an email from Guideboat telling me they could offer guaranteed 2-day shipping on orders over $150. I have recently returned a sweater for exchange to a larger size and returned a watch I got for my husband for a refund as he didn't like it. I received confirmation from UPS that the company received the package and signed for it. I have called their customer service several times over two weeks now and no one picks up even after 15 minutes on hold. I have emailed them five times, with no response. Ordered a Christmas gift on December 8. Received one order confirmation email and then nothing after that. Called, emailed, tried Facebook. Supposedly their online business is still there, but it’s the worst customer experience ever. Do not order.

Placed an order on 11/18/2019 which has not been delivered. Again, repeated emails and phone calls have gone unanswered. Poor customer services, unfulfilled orders do not make a good company. Please do not order from them

My husband placed an order that was never delivered for over $100. Repeated emails and phone calls have gone unanswered. Now emails to the company bounced. We speculate they are slowly going out of business and recommend NOT ordering from this company.

I only shop online so I will start with the positive - the overall design and functionality of what they sell is great. I like the way their clothes look and fit. The products wear well and the styles generally go a couple of seasons if not longer! 4.5 Stars Now the really bad - the customer service and QA is abysmal.
