Don’t recommend. I recently had a horrible experience trying to get access to our HOA’s bank account. While the staff are friendly, they either don’t know their bank’s own policies/features and have to go ask/call someone, or they give inaccurate information, which requires you to make multiple trips back to the bank. Guaranty also doesn’t offer free bill pay or mobile deposits for business accounts. Specific to Port Allen They do their job following policy to a tee. Friendly staff despite me having limited funds there. All the resources there to grow my small business.
Great Customer Service
Before you bank with Guaranty Bank & Trust make sure you NEVER need to rent a car! Guaranty bank does not allow charges for rental car services on your debit cards even though it’s your money! So as I write this I’m stuck at an Enterprise Rental Car in a town I’m not familiar with trying to figure out how I’m going to get home. Guaranty Bank in Livonia recommends I walk to Walmart, which is several miles away, with all the stuff I’m carrying out of my truck and get a Visa gift card to pay for it!
