Guaranty Bank has been wonderful working with. Have been waiting since 9/8 for our bank to send dispute paperwork to Guaranty as their ATM kept some of our cash that we were depositing. We bank at a different bank. Our bank ended up closing our claim as they couldn't or wouldn't help us. It took guaranty bank 6 hrs and they had us a check printed giving us our money back.
I was the beneficiary of my mothers accts and they would not give me the money I had to pay for an attorney and even after her accounts were frozen they wee still charging service fees on her accts I took every penny out of my accts would never trust them greedy bank they make their money charging fees on dead people's accts you are dealing with enough when a loved one dies and they made it much worse .
They wouldn’t give my mom our grandmas accounts even though my mom is the beneficiary. She had to hire a lawyer and spend more money. And they keep charging my grandma fees even though she died in June. This place is the worst bank, and makes losing a family member even harder. Don’t ever bank with these people!!! Especially if you want your family members to be able to access your accounts that they are a beneficiary to and even when it’s stated in the will as well. There are a lot of banks in Joplin and I've tried most of them. It boggles the mind the different levels of customer care on each different institution. I've come to expect lackluster performance and a general lack of actual care. Imagine my surprise and delight when encountering Guaranty bank on 32nd St. I originally went in with my Mom and was so surprised at the personal touch I opened an account on the spot. Every time I go in I'm greeted by name with genuine affection.
