The Gualtieri Family Vineyard is a special place. I've seen Chris build this from the ground up with all his heart and soul. Following his father and grandfathers footsteps and keeping the family tradition. His passion for the vines and excitement to share with everyone is one of a kind. He spends countless hours and weekends making sure each vine is taken care with an experienced hand. Also, Chris is one of the nicest, caring guys you'll ever meet.
Our family and friends have really enjoyed our times spent helping with the planting and also the first harvest at this boutique Ramona vineyard. The vines are kept in top condition and the grapes should soon produce some delicious Syrah wine. Moreover, the vigneron Chris is such a fun guy to be around.
Chris Gualtieri is so dedicated to this family vineyard. He was inspired to establish it through the influence of his father and grandfather. They used to make wine together and speak fondly of the experience and now Chris is carry on with the tradition.
One of the finest well cared for Vineyards in the Ramona Valley. The Syrah varietal is high quality and sought after by well established Winemakers. I volunteered on planting day back in 2019 and at the first harvest in 2021 and have always been impressed with the quality of the grapes and dedicated care that Dr. Gualtieri puts into his family vineyard. I look forward to many more harvests to come.
