Definitely don’t recommend G-tek Internet to anyone. Our service is down again, and again there is no estimated time of restoration. I called and was told “we’re working on it” I asked about a credit or SOMETHING for the days it’s been down (since last time took over 48 hours to come back up and that was only a week ago) and was told they don’t give credits for service being down. High pressure sales team all they wanted to do is sell higher $$$ packages. I was charged $75 for a 2 year agreement and installation, when the tech showed up I was informed I needed a router at a cost of $90, this was never discussed when I ordered there service. When I ask to have the router installed in my attic the tech said it would not be easy and would cost more, I have an attic that I can walk around (I'm 6'2'' tall) in with a power source right there. ****** ** installed there cable in the same spot without any comp... read more

GTEK has provided fantastic service for rural internet. I know that it used to be not so great but they have improved. And their Field Tech in this area Russell Brown is through & complete in fixing any problems.

My family live in Gregory Portland, Texas area and would like to commend Mr Nick that works this area for his professionalism and time he took in resolving our internet issue. This is possibly the worst internet service provider on earth. In my opinion they are a group of crooks that found a legal loophole to run a business. Our internet hardly ever works & when we call they say it's issues with their tower. This is the answer we have been getting for months. We are told it's against company policy to adjust our bill to compensate for all the times it's down.

Company does not provide acceptable costumer service nor does it provide services that it has agreed to provide. Technicians with company cannot resolve service issues typical response is there is no problem currently occurring. It slow internet service is do to over ooking system.

Service at best is ok, constant service interruptions slow speeds. Billing Dept ,does not credit your account for down time due to their incompetence. Three days without service recently and no credit for my account because they messed up an upgrade and couldn't handle the call volume for all the customers they affected.

The internet is one of the most important necessities in today’s world. Yes a necessity, because we look at paying our phone and internet bill the same as the water, or electricity bill. Since us Americans want to know everything about everyone we need the internet to expand our vast knowledge about the Kardashians, or our favourite TV show we missed The Walking Dead.
