Please reconsider banking here. I am a fairly new customer and have had terrible experiences banking with GTE. 1. GTE employees will email you and never respond (loan application) 2. GTE locks your card for every online purchase (over exaggerated, but it feels like it), and they did not notify me of potential fraud. They just shut down your card and automatically decline all transactions. It would be best to offer customers the option to approve or reject a transaction rather than requiring a call. They probably were once good. I used their medical provider mortgage once and now that I moved again to provide medical services for underserved communities they refuse to make a mortgage loan despite making 2x what I made 3 years ago. Their declination form said income insufficient… yet my bank statements and pay stubs say exactly the opposite. They shouldn’t advertise that they provide flexible loans for medical providers and then not be flexible in the slightest. Not to mention their app UI Sucks. Skip them. They also onl... read more

Screw you guys!! Should mention ive been a member for 12 years. Deny an actual small loan for a major home repair but yall couldn't care less! So sick of GTE, I'm hoping I can find a way to make an easy switch to a different bank. Maybe I'll find one where I'm a human? Looks like they've been getting a ton of bad reviews recently, not a single one being answered. Just a way to fund their pockets.
