Absolutely terrible experience with this branch as a non customer you cannot access the virtual teller to cash checks without an account on Saturdays which is the only branch open for 50miles i drove 1hr and half to only be denied service because you dont have any employees working at the bank i wouldnt ever open and account at gte or recommend anyone
Thomas was incredibly kind and helpful, and I truly appreciated the time he took to assist us. However, I would not recommend opening an account here if you receive SSI or SSDI. I ran into an issue with a teller who insisted I needed to open a payee account, which is not legally required by SSI. A representative payee can legally use a regular checking account.
