I had to open account with GS1 Canada because of my business. This is a monopoly right in the 21st century that does whatever they want because there's no other option to choose from to get barcodes in Canada. My experience with them has been terrible, the barcodes are overpriced, they charge for unused previous years if you come back one day and need barcodes back, this is crazy, it's a ripoff! They don't act as a "not-for-profit" company, but as a "rip-off-for-profit" one. They even keep sending collection notices for invo... read more
Very confusing website. I don’t even know when I subscribed anything, and they kept sending invoices for hundreds of dollar. I tried to call, nobody ever pick up the phone I tried to email, they said it will take “process and time” to cancel, and “you will be still receiving invoices” STAY AWAY FROM THIS There are many companies do similar services and honest, not TOTAL SCAM as this one
If I could give them zero stars I would. Complete scam. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS. You will be billed for ridiculous things and never recieve a full explanation. They do not provide any help or any benefit to any business... and like others have said, good luck closing your account. They tell you they will close your account, then send you a collections notice threntening to report you. The whole thing should be investigated. Complete joke.
