We went to ride the Thermal Belt trail and just decided to stop in this Bike Shop and sure glad we did! The owners were very friendly and offered expertise on a bike rack we had been wanting to buy. They also offered recommendations on places to eat and other trails around Spindale and Rutherfordton. Ended up purchasing the rack as well as a mirror for my wife’s bike. Definitely recommend this shop for rentals or purchases.
They ordered a trike and assembled and setup for me. During the wait for it to come in across the sea I made a few calls asking its whereabouts and time frame. They were always helpful with information and kind each time I called. I would definitely recommend them for buying and having work done.
Robert and Lindsay have done nothing but help me out multiple times. From fixing my bike tires, setting me up with a complete skateboard and taking the time to help me figure out a helmet sizing problem then ordering me one that was perfect. Any bike or skateboard needs they are the place to go.
Had a wonderful experience at Grumpy's! Highly recommend. Really nice and helpful folks. We rented 2 bikes to try the Thermal Belt trail which is right across the street. They were high quality and well-maintained bikes. Thank you!
Wonderful people and owners! We wanted to do some neat things around Rutherfordton and Lake Lure, and Grumpy's had great reviews. We were able to rent bikes for an hour and add more as we needed. We got a bike for my 7 year old daughter, 11 year old son, myself and my mother. Helmets were included and we rode down to Fly Boy Pizza. (Awesome by the way.
