It's July 24th, 10pm on a Friday, and my little girl and I are stranded in the Walmart Parking Lot. We are brand new to the area and did not know that the bus would not be going back down Midlothian and Arboretum so that we could get back home. The drivers are not helpful in anyway in giving directions or advising on how to properly transfer to another bus. They get irritated and just dismiss you.
I have been sitting at stop #1866 on Nine Mile for over an hour and a half! Two scheduled busses have not even shown up!!! This is absolutely RIDICULOUS!! Especially considering this bus goes to the airport. People have planes to catch!!! I am so angry. This happens WAY TOO MUCH!!
GRTC drivers turning from N Shephard onto Broad St, both ways, are very aggressive toward pedestrians. Several times I've almost been run down mid-crosswalk, despite having the pedestrian light and right-of-way. No one at GRTC even acknowledges complaints. Dangerous drivers - pedestrians beware.
Never on time rude drivers was lied to by a 7a bus driver at the airport that said he was changing to the 7b when he leaves the airport now im stuck at the airport for another 30 minutes even customer service is rude when you call to ask about a bus
I have several complaints! Let's start off with the fact that I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user. 95% of the buses do not know how to properly strap in my chair. I'm constantly sliding all over the bus to the point that I have almost gotten hurt several times. Last night actually did get hurt because a bus driver was not paying attention.
