Went in for a couples massage with my boyfriend on Saturday. I called ahead to let them know I am 5 weeks pregnant, and they said they were fine with that and able to still preform the massages. Well, they ended up putting me in the most uncomfortable position (laying on my side for an hour), pet my body and hair for an hour, and only rubbed oil on my right leg and completely neglected the left. My wife and I came here together and were able to schedule appointments for the following day. Incredibly satisfying. I asked for them to be hard, and this is the first place that truly lived up to that request. Very professional and relaxing staff and environment.
At first the staff seemed confused by our massage and foot reflexology appointments booked back to back but after 15 minutes of discussion that took up a portion of our massage, it was finally resolved. The next issue was that 2 of our group of 3 had to receive their massage services in a shared couples room. Why wasn’t that disclosed when I booked the appointments? An amazing experience! Tina is both caring and nurturing, as revealed in both her touch and words. This was first hair/scalp treatment/massage and I couldn’t have chosen a better spa than Grotto.
