I have a very close friend here in Transitional Care for the past few months. Yes, the building is beautiful, clean, and spacious, BUT, I don't believe the food is very neutritional at all, and certainly at least on the 6th floor, the service is not good either. There is a definite lack of empathy from nursing staff, and it is very difficult to get any calls answered at the nursing station. Very good service
The food served in this facility is consistently terrible, a far cry from what patients need for recovery and well-being. It's clearly unhealthy and of low quality, failing to meet even basic dietary requirements. I can't help but suspect that the food budget has been severely cut, resulting in meals that are both unappetizing and nutritionally deficient. They should change the current food provider and, more importantly, hire a qualified dietician to ensure that meals are not only palatable but also contribute to the health... read more
