Staff call regarding the wrong patient and they are barely able to speak proper English. Im not sure what the funds we pay each month go towards but they dont seem to cover very much. My father has some redness on his toenails and they need to be trimmed. Not a service they provide and they tell me a need to call around for pricing to get this service done? After a car accident and after knee surgery, I stayed at Greystone for over a month. Nurses were excellent. Care from the PSW's could very a lot. My room set up was awful in that the washroom I used was treated like a public washroom with lots of traffic and no lock at all on the door. The meals were also delivered 3 times a day through the washroom entrance. The nurses were great and some PSWs were very good. The attitude from some managers could be condescending. My mother was her for about a year, the 7th floor staff were good to her, the rooms are huge, it is possibly the best place for temporary care. The food is an issue as it is brought in and is hospital grade food. I believe they do the best they can.
