Love this venue – Have been to GE to see Iris deMent (2 times). Also did the Big Crafty there. Such a wonderful atmosphere - kind of like Soundstage on a much smaller scale. Yes, acoustics are jammin. Would much rather get a ticket for a show there than other venues in AVL. Only discomfort was how hot it got inside one summer evening when Iris played. Sweated beer bullets. But definitely will go back (good ticket prices, cold beer, congenial guy at the front door). Their show calendar offers so much, who can really complain?
Grey Eagle Tavern & Music Hall Great space to get up close and personal with wonderful musicians. I love the fact that they host kid and family shows. Prices and parking are good.
Best Accoustics in Asheville Grey Eagle Tavern & Music Hall is a very nice place to see an intimate concert. They book unique talent and they have a great sound-system that is always mixed perfectly. The only thing is that sometimes the "uniqueness" of their talent overshadows the "talent" of their talent. This is not always the case, though, and I've seen some fantastic shows at the Grey Eagle. If you want to see an intimate show and hear every word, run to the Grey Eagle.
Grey Eagle Tavern & Music Hall has a 4.6 star rating with 1,669 reviews.
Grey Eagle Tavern & Music Hall is open now. It will close at 8:00 p.m.
