No idea what happening over there but it’s been months now and still haven’t hear anything on my tax returns or if my taxes were done properly or not. Never had trouble in the past before. Definitely going to be looking for a new tax person for next year
Wow. They completely screwed us and will not respond to calls or emails.
My mom has been using Daren for years and the last few years she has complained about how he's been late but ultimately she gets her taxes. This year he hasn't even filed them just did extention after extention and when she called his number was no longer in service or disabled. It has been about 7 months since he was supposed to have started it. The last she talked with someone they had mentioned he was sick, but they'd get it done. So very disappointed in our 2024 tax services this year. We’ve been using Gress for our taxes for over a decade. This year our filing was super delayed, despite our having all of the necessary documents to him on time. When we could get a hold of Daren (which was a challenge), he reassured us that he had it handled. Now we face almost $900 in penalties due in 3 days to the federal government and we can’t get a call back from him, which was the norm since April. So, so disappointing.
First time meeting Daren. Wow! Let just say, no regrets leaving my other tax guy. Daren is amazing.
