I bought a bike from Greg's Cycles about 6 months ago and instantly regretted it. It has a flat tyre and the gears/chain jumped a lot. I did eventually get most of my money back from him but he argued that the quality was good, then claimed that me saying the bike wasn't in a good state was a reason why he shouldn't buy it back from me. I'd go elsewhere unless you're desperate.
Really good service from a friendly guy. I have had my bike overhauled for a good price, it's now like riding a new one.
I would advise Greg for anyone that has an odd bike. I've had mixed experiences with him. I assumed Greg was an expert and gave him faith by bringing my vintage bike to him several times. But he clearly does not pay taxes on anything (only accepts cash) and did each repair without much effort - I found out later by doing things myself that he changed entire bits of the bike that could have just been fixed.
