My dear sister Lyn was a resident at Greenview for five wonderful years, and my other sister and I can’t speak highly enough of the care and kindness she received. From Kylie, the manager, to the warm and welcoming greeting from Allirah, Hesh, Lydia and the many lovely faces we saw every day – as well as the amazing kitchen staff, especially Shantha; the lifestyle team, Sharon, Liv and Martine; nurses; and personal care assistants – everyone made Lyn feel truly cared for and cherished. My dad entered Greenview on an Emergency Respite basis. He was diagnosed with end stage kidney disease at the start of the year and lived independlty at a retirement village, but when he deteriorated rapidly in September we had to find somewhere where he could be looked after. Greenview were very accommodating and accepted dad on short notice. My Mum Gladys spent 4 wonderful years at Greenview Aged Care. She was hesitant to leave her home in Doncaster but it didn’t take long for her to totally embrace her new lifestyle at Greenview. It gave the family Peace of Mind knowing that Mum was getting 24/7 care & she was getting very well looked after. My Mum was a resident at Greenview until she passed from cancer. I cannot recommend Greenview enough for their compassion, empathy and high standard of care. There’s care and then there’s caring and the staff go above and beyond. I was able to sleep in my Mum’s room in her final days and they had a spare room at the time where my brother slept and we could use the bathroom to shower.
