Years ago I was a patient here and therapy, nursing and staff were very good. Recently I was recommended rehab and was placed here. Things have changed. For the first 3 days the light was permanently on in my room, day and night. The bed remote did not work. I had stomach issues and was supposed to be on a special diet which they said they could accommodate. That was a joke-hot dogs was their favorite meal. I have an egg allergy. IN MY OPINION, THIS IS THE WORSE REHAB PLACE. MY HUSBAND WENT THERE FOR RECOVERY AFTER HIP REPLACEMENT. I COULD NEVER VISIT BECAUSE OF "COVID". EVERY TIME I CALLED TO COME SEE HIM "COVID" WAS USED TO KEEP ME AND MY FAMILY AWAY. FINALLY, I SAID I WAS TAKING HIM OUT. I STILL COULD NOT GO INSIDE. AN ATTENDANT BROUGHT HIM OUT TO OUR CAR. THIS WAS ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO. I HOPE THE STAFF HAVE IMPROVED BY NOW. IN HIS STATE OF MIND HE VOICED HE NEVER WANTED TO GO THERE AGAIN. I was hoping the more recent reviews would have shown some improvement. I guess not. Although dated, I was compelled to place my mother in The Greens during the summer of 2010. I had to pay for the room while my mother required care at different hospitals in Cleveland. Finally, an excellent hospital, The Regency, helped my mother recover enough to be released to The Greens, for which she required a feeding tube and catheter. Probably the worst place you could be. Very poor care . My husband had to be rushed into surgery for an infection in his foot that was not treated properly. Good staff leave for better jobs in better facilities. Most staff are not trained adequately. The light in the ceiling of my husbands room burned out. I asked repeatedly to have a new bulb put in. NEVER HAPPENED . Beyond my comprehension . How many people does it take to change a lightbulb??? Room was never cleaned adequately. There was a mattress being stored in the bat... read more
