My sister is a resident at the Greens. As far as the staff, no complaints. We did have to start taking her laundry to the laundry mat, because she never got her clothes back. But, what has really set me off is the food situation. I am 2 hours away from my sister and when she calls me at 8:30pm and tells me she is hungry, I was livid. She said all she got for supper was a grilled cheese sandwich and about 6 French fries, I felt helpless. My sister is a diabetic and I am not going to set back and let this go on. If I catch somebody else stealing something out of my father's room #527 Im contacting the Gastonia Police Department and I'm filing a police report I dont care if it's a toothbrush 😡 Also I have other things to discuss with the social worker there Ill be there Tuesday the 6th and if we can't get things resolved I will be contacting the NC Medical Board and the BBB I would never recommend yall to anybody! This place has gone down hill fast !

I just want to shout out the staff and nurses at the Greens at Gastonia (especially in hallway 100)! I know nursing homes can have a bad reputation sometimes, but this place is doing a great job with my grandmother! When we visit, everyone is kind, inviting, and approachable! Extremely disappointed in the “care” of my loved one. Concerns may have been addressed (at best) but no change in the level of care. Disorganized, incompetent, unfriendly, and unconcerned staff in all positions at the facility. It’s a shame and disgrace. The administrator is the worst. So disrespectful.
