My husband Bob and I are so grateful to the amazing staff at Greenbrier for bringing him so far in his recovery from a massive stroke! A special shoutout to administrator Ciara, social worker Steven, and head of nursing Katherine. My husband Bob and I are so grateful to the good staff at Greenbrier, where he is recovering from a massive stroke. A special shout-out today to Kim Davis, the wonderful Dietary Manager who makes sure he gets healthy and delicious entrees every day! We love the variety, and though we haven’t taken advantage of it, there’s a “always available menu” in case a resident doesn’t like the current meal posted for a particular day.

Volunteering at Greenbrier Healthcare Center has been such a meaningful and joyful experience. The community is incredibly warm and welcoming, and there’s always something fun happening. There’s games and crafts to group therapy that helps bring everyone together. Stephanie, the activity director, plays a huge role in making it all possible. I've been in over 1000 SNFs and this one got me. It's usually a pretty sour entry. First impressions are always the strongest. I have come to accept that. I came in as a vendor - this place blew me away. I was greeted by at least 4 people as soon as I walked in. Met with Steven and he was so kind and accommodating. The place doesn't look like much outside - but inside...holy moly. If the admin staff treats vendors like that, those patients and residents are going to be fanned with palm leaves.
