My experience with Avir at Arlington was seamless, the Business office manager toured my sister and I for possible admission for my brother on Thanksgiving! I was so surprised that anyone would be available on Thanksgiving, she was so nice, loved her smile, the building was immaculate, every staff we passed we so welcoming an all greeting each of us, some even “Ms.Freddie, when do you go home, what are you doing here?”. My sister and I loved the family feeling atmosphere and glad our brother is there.

The therapy delivered by Christine helped my mom advance from a feeding tube to real food. With Christine's skills and training, mom regained her strength and was able to come back home!

HORRIBLE! The front is all nice, but the back is awful. Smelly, dirty. My son in law arrived two weeks ago healthy, had to transport him to ER as he was non responsive.staff didn’t even know he was non responsive. He has sepsis, severely dehydrated, lost 10 lbs in two weeks. He has SO MANY BED SORES!!! He didn’t have ANY when he was admitted.He was social and lucid, able to wheel himself around, within two weeks he was bedridden, dehydrated and basically starved, with No communication from facility. My husband Bob and I are so grateful to the amazing staff at Greenbrier for bringing him so far in his recovery from a massive stroke! A special shoutout to administrator Ciara, social worker Steven, and head of nursing Katherine. Also to the amazing nurses and nurse assistants who went above and beyond everyday, including Matilda, Tammy, Ruth, Ericka, Shay, Tay, & Violet, among others.
