I love this store! Although I’m not local I make a point to visit here every time I come to Culpeper.
When you walk through the door there is a feeling of warmth and kindness. Everyone makes sure you feel welcome. They always help make your shopping experience great and try to help you find what you’re looking for. The shop is packed with beautiful, high quality, boutique finds. It’s truly a unique place and you enjoy it every single time!

When I’m looking for a unique gift for someone, a treat for myself, or just feel like browsing around a cozy shop, Green Roost is the place to go. The owner and staff are just wonderful. A couple of months ago I fainted in the store and their employee, Renee, was beyond wonderful to me. She jumped in, helped me out, and was so caring. I’ve purchased a Culpeper t-shirt for my husband, a Culpeper coffee mug, candles, jewelry for myself and my daughters, and much more. Such a great downtown Culpeper shop. A must stop shop.
