They offered a higher rate on a IRA and get you hooked then they merged with another credit union and now their rates are lower. Then attempt to transfer funds from your accounts to another institution they take days if not weeks to make the transfer! They come up with excuses why they can’t transfer your funds. I made sure they had all the correct information and paperwork signed. I even did a three way call between institutions and GMCU still failed to transfer my funds! I personally would NOT suggest using GMCU!
I worked with Dallas, a Loan Officer there, and she was amazing! She was kind, patient, knowledgeable and wonderful to work with! She went out of her way to get my car loan done in a timely manner! This helped ease my stress of it all and I'd definitely suggest her and this bank when needing a loan!
