I have been attending Green Bamboo for well over a year, and most of my treatments are with Amy, who is exceptionally caring and thoughtful. I usually have a great experience at this place but my 30 mins deep tissue massage today wasn’t good. Barely any pressure and my shoulders that I pointed out were sore didn’t get any attention. Nervous to go back anymore now.
Ohmygoodness - I’ve found a proper massage therapist in Amy! She knows the body so well, and while it can be a little painful at times - it’s so effective and has helped me so much. Amazing. I used to live in China and it’s the proper tui na, kind of like remedial massage but with a balancing of the body that’s just incredible.
I’ve been visiting Green Bamboo Massage in Balaclava on and off for the past five years, and they’ve never disappointed. I usually book with Kenji and go for the one-hour hot oil massage. Every time I leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and properly rejuvenated. Kenji is a great masseuse — skilled, professional and always respectful. The place is clean and hygienic, the staff are welcoming, and the overall experience is excellent value for money. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quality, reliable massage in the area.
