There were food crumbs and other people’s hair in my bed. There was holes in the walls and spiders everywhere. Half of the shower head wasn’t even working. The kitchen looked decent but it did not fit the whole cottage. I am disgusted with what I put up with. Please for your health do not stay here.

Stayed at Great Trethew Manor for a 1 night Business trip in June 2025. Staff were very welcoming on arrival and very attentive during my evening meal, which was very good and large portions. The room was clean, tidy with comfortable bed and good shower. Some areas around the estate were a little worn and needed a bit of tlc but its quite pretty especially with the (Noisy) peacocks.

Hi me a sue stayed at the great trethew manor hotel for 3 nights 100 % value for money, lovely staff, and lovely owner. The area is stunning ,very clean shower room, very clean bedroom,very clean hotel ,a big breakfast, Looe about 15mins away, polperro about 20 mins away st Ives 1 1/4 hrs we had a great stay we would recommend it and will be back Gary Brackley and Susan goodman
