Worst customer service. Kept getting told to call different numbers and then transferred and ignored.
First time I went in to cash a check written to me by someone else who hold an account through GSB and even after I told them I was not looking to change my current bank they still used my phone number to call me to solicit. The second time I went to do the same thing and waited in the Drive-Thru for 15 min before pulling around to go inside. Edited to say the bank reached out to me and made this right so I’m happy. We’ve been with them for years and usually have great service. Thank you Great Southern (Val) for making this right. Went to cash my check, extremely slow service and they shorted me $.50 which I didn’t realize until I got home and it’s too far to drive back for $.50. Absolutely ridiculous.
the tellers are extremely incompetent and make mistakes often.
