I grew up in the Spring Green, Wisconsin area in the shadows of everything Frank Lloyd Wright, House on the Rock, and American Players theatre. So, I have seen many plays by that talented group as I grew up there and after. This festival and its talented "players" rank very well in comparison.
LOVE the new venue that's just a few blocks down the road. Always max passion at the summer shows, on a set that is minimal and intriguing. We usually grab a bite to eat before the show at on of several excellent spots nearby. At Midsummer Night's dream this year, the naive Bottom was the best I've ever seen. Pericles reminded me of Avengers, maybe a bit too much, but that's on the writer, not this production!!
Amazing artists! From the actors to all those that bring it to life, costumes, sets, lighting, it's impressive every year!
