It's such a small outfit that they can't ever seem to get the electronic side of banking to work. Staff is friendly but it's impossible to get anybody on the phone and their locations are so remote that I will be looking to change credit unions.
Do not get a loan with these crooks. Insane interest rate structures and collect interest off of principal payments.
This used to be a great bank! I've had car loans and mortgages with them, and held larger deposits there. They were awesome, and their people were excellent. In the last year, the culture of the bank has changed a lot, incredibly rude employees, they don't value their members. The billpay is completely 3rd party outside of their jurisdicition and is not their own in-house system. The technology in general here for online banking is stuck in the 1990s. Beware.
Overall a great credit union. I’ve always had good experiences with the people here. They are always kind, helpful, and work hard to make sure my needs are met. Happy to be a member of this credit union!
The Big Lake branch of Great River Federal Credit Union is bright and welcoming, with positive staff that greet you upon entering. There are convenient outdoor drive throughs when you are looking to make a quick stop. I highly recommend this branch to anyone looking for a positive banking experience!
