I’ve been a loyal customer of Great Outdoor Provision Company, but I won’t be returning. I visited around 11 a.m. yesterday and was shocked by the overpowering artificial fragrance used throughout the store. I had to leave immediately. Artificial fragrance isn’t just a nuisance—it’s toxic. It’s made from petroleum-derived chemicals that can affect hormone balance, respiratory health, and neurological function. Great place for camping, backpacking, hiking gear. Fly fishing too. Swain & Don offer great advice
I honestly didn't even go in. The parking in that strip mall is a joke.
I went to Outdoor Provision today to look at day packs. Nancy was so helpful with both equipment and advice to help me prep for an upcoming hiking trip. Thanks to her I was fitted for the correct pack and learned about additional gear that will be helpful on the trail.
My husband and I had a great experience at this store. We were shopping for hiking/outdoor boots. Stephen in the shoe dept. was phenomenal! He was very helpful with recommending brands for my husband and knowing how each brand would fit. He even went to track down a specific pair for us in the size we needed at another location and offered to have them shipped directly to us, as we don't live in town. Overall a very good experience. Highly recommend
