I hired great lakes to setup my aquarium, I gave them money up front to order parts they say they need and I never heard back,after about a month I took them to court. Very stressful situation. I have no trust in them they lied to me and tried to steal my money. all I can say buyers beware!!!
When I was considering getting into the hobby, one of the major deciding factors for me was having a store this incredible close to my home. I started visiting the store and the staff answered all my questions, kept me from making some beginner mistakes, and set me up for success. 7 months in, my tank looks great and everything I’ve bought is thriving. When i was deciding which store would be my “home store”, I checked out every fish store-within 30 miles of Macedonia and Great Lakes Fish and Coral is easily the best!
This is a must go if your in the fish keeping hobby. I am new to the hobby and have visited ten plus stores in a fifty mile radius of my home. This place was undeniably the best. The staff is amazing , helpful, and knowledgeable.
My husband and I have been customers for 3 consecutive years now. They never cease to amaze us with their kindness and the incredible diversity and rarity of their livestock. We always look forward to getting our water!!
