DO NOT USE GREAT JOB MOVING. I paid double the quoted estimate. Spoke to several employees about the issue. Everyone just passes it off to the next person. Customer service is horrible. One month later still no resolution despite my dozens of phone calls and emails. A $2,400 local move ended up costing me $4,700. Use Matthew’s movers or DC Pro Movers or anyone else just DONT USE GREAT JOB THEY ARE A RIP OFF
DO NOT GO WITH GREAT JOB MOVERS! ENDED UP PAYING OVER DOUBLE THE QUOTE AMOUNT, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was quoted $2,400 - $2,700 for a local move with estimated 10 hours of work. It was scheduled to be an overnight move, so they'd load the truck one day and unload the truck the next day. Due to rain they could not load the truck on day 1, so the team just prepped and wrapped furniture for three hours. These people are EXTREMELY pushy and dishonest. They tried to get me to sign a contract without telling me what it was after I already said I was still looking at other companies and making a decision. Made me pay a deposit to hold the date and when I wanted to get the deposit back after going with another company they were very pushy about trying to get me to stay with them, asking me what price the other company was charging etc.
My moving team got the job done in the estimated time at the rate quoted. They handled break-down, wrapping and set up of bed, TV and other large pieces. Will absolutely use again the next time I move.
A woman with a very high pitch voice I was speaking to hang up on a call when I told her I'll go with another company. I am so glad that I didn't choose this company, although a person who came to walk through was a nice gentleman.
