Our stay was just wonderful! We enjoyed a week long Autumn Honeymoon in the adorable Coach House. Liz and John were the very best of hosts, personalizing our stay with champagne and a congratulations on our nuptials waiting to welcome us! We enjoyed walking the footpaths around and the stunning hilltop view from their recommended hike right around the corner. We have just spent five days at the cottage. It was very comfortable, clean and well furnished. The owners of the property who live opposite, they are very warm , friendly people who try and make your stay as pleasant as possible. The extra touches of fresh eggs, milk and prosecco was really very nice touch. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to explore the Forest of Dean. It’s conveniently located and walks can be from the doorstep.
We loved our stay. The cottage is v comfortable and well equipped. Cosy but also spacious. Gorgeous area, so much to do and see. Liz & John are delightful. We will definitely be back!
Immaculately presented,warm and cosy in an elevated position looking over grounds. Helpful hosts. Well placed for Goodrich Castle , Symonds Yat , Ross on Wye and Monmouth visits.
It was a completely tranquil few nights here, with everything you need for a self-catering break. With our excellent and really experienced hosts available if needed, we could not ask for much more. The light from the windows and the vaulted ceiling, together with the garden surroundings all deserve a special mention as it gave a sense of space to the coach house accommodation. We will be back, hopefully in more normal times!
