Lovely facilities with nice staff, however, they are not trained to handle behaviors of able-bodied seniors with advanced Alzheimer's. Our father entered Grant Serenity of Verdugo (Burbank) and died a little over 7 weeks later after being transferred to Grant Serenity of Pasadena. This was due to inappropriately prescribed medications from St. Vincent Hospice which was recommended to us by Grant Serenity.
