I am a customer of a few years with Granite State. The internet package is very slow and they refuse to run fiber OR anything faster than dial up out to my location. My neighbors have been offered a faster plan, which they opted for, only to realize it was no faster at all, and plagued with constant connectivity issues. I was going to upgrade but I am glad I did not as these issues are still ongoing. Granite State has a monopoly in Washington, New Hampshire and this should not be allowed. Granite State Communications is involved in price fixing and selectively overcharging certain consumers. My complaint has to do with quality of service, overcharging for substandard services, as well as not complying with commitments. Fours years ago, GSC deployed new internet service to my neighbors about .75 miles away. At that time My neighbors receive 100MBPS Internet speeds for $129.95 per month as compared to me.
