Stay away! This company has really gone downhill since Robert Johnson left. They handled my company and personal returns for years and charged a pretty penny for it. I am now running into serious issues with the IRS because something isn't adding up with their work. I used Granite Mountain for the past few years and have become increasingly dissatisfied. First, they added a deduction to one of my returns that should not have been taken. I understand that mistakes happen. When they do, I simply expect acknowledgment and accountability. They attempted to fix it and helped me pay the associated underpayment. Being new in town we put our faith in this business. Colossal mistake. There were amended returns and several extra charges involved. They wouldn’t return my phone messages or emails. I had to call the state to take care of 2023 taxes myself. They advised me to get another tax preparer.
