I have experience both with Grandwood’s Assisted living side, and the memory care side of their senior facility. I would like to recommend them to any person that is dealing with the difficult decision of how to care for their elderly parent when being in their own home is no longer feasible. My experience has been that Grandwood is resident oriented, family oriented, less turnover of employees, great nursing staff, and has administrators that care about the families, and also care about their employees. It's a beautiful place, caring attendance and thoughtful patient oversight. Here clients have an ability to live out their lives with grace and dignity.
Our mother stayed here. We were not impressed. Especially when her dementia worsened. They basically kicked her out. They packed her belongings, at least some of them, and left them at the front door. We are still waiting for the rest of her belongings to be returned.
Not the best get rid of the rude administrator!
