I had the BEST experience at Grande Stitches. Needlepoint has been a hobby I have been wanting to get into but I was very overwhelmed on how to start. I passed by the shop and popped in while on vacation. The owner was sooo helpful! She showed me around the store, showed me different canvases, what to look for as a beginner, helped me pick my threads and then put it all together for me so all I had to do was start threading!! Grade Stitches is an absolutely beautiful shop! Janice is so knowledgeable and wonderful to speak with, and my family felt right at home when we stopped by. The needlepoint patterns were stunning, and as a knitter myself I was pleasantly surprised by the yarn selection. Definitely the highlight of my trip to Boca Grande!!
Janice is absolutely amazing. I discovered her shop while on the island a few months ago. I was opened up to a whole new world. Never doing needlepoint but always loving knitting and crafts I picked it up quickly. Any time I have a question or need help with selections Janice is always more than willing to help. I have been to a few different shops and will go out of my way to visit Grande Stitches. It’s always a treat to shop here.
