Well, isn’t this place grand! Lovely reception area with very welcoming staff. It was our first time in a salt cave. The cave is chilly, so a blanket is provided. You recline in a patio chair for 45 minutes and relax in the peaceful, quiet atmosphere (talking is discouraged so as not to interrupt the other guests). We were then taken into a quiet room for a 45 minute foot detox where you place your feet on warm blocks of salt. Very relaxing. So disappointed in the service - used to be my favorite spot -not anymore - had the worst massage ever - since when is massage using your arm and elbow???
I went in today for a massage that I had scheduled with Tony. I took the first available as I was really needing the service, and didn’t care if I had a male or a female. I’ve been here before a few times and always enjoyed every service I received. This time was absolutely exceptional! Tony is very friendly, very social, and clearly very experienced and educated in his field. I received one of the best massages I have ever had and have now marked him as my preferred therapist. Manicure $68 for a manicure!! I was absolutely shocked to find at time of payment that an additional $12 is charged to remove shellac. I have been here previously for a polish change and charged $36. According to the receptionist, a polish change is better as the $12 shellac removal is not charged. How does this make sense? I have manicures twice monthly. I have never paid for a shellac removal fee while already paying for the full manicure.
