About this business
A giant six-story IMAX movie screen and over 12,000 watts of digital surround sound allows visitors to literally experience the Grand Canyon, throughout time, as if they were actually there. The IMAX Theater is under renovation and will open in Spring 2023 with a new film called Grand Canyon: Rivers of Time presented in IMAX with Laser. The Grand Canyon Visitor Center will remain open during the renovation. Tours, Food and Beverage and Retail will be open for business as usual.

The Grand Canyon IMAX Experience is a must-do! The film combines jaw-dropping canyon views with fascinating history and Native American legends, giving context that makes visiting the Canyon itself so much more meaningful. The movie was very personally experiential. They did a really good job. Felt like you were right on the boat riding the rapids or flying through the sky through the canyon. Definitely worth your time and ticket. After the show you can purchase for around $10 a pass to see that same movie streaming from any personal device or smart TV. The card allows eight viewings of this really really good movie.

The movie is shockingly well done. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area.
Didn't love the movie honestly. And it felt like the screen was IMAX size but the video wasn't high enough resolution? Maybe it was something else but it felt off.
