We just left Grace for home after spending 4 months there because my husband had a stroke and we needed a good place for him to recover. It’s obvious the facility is beautiful but what’s more impressive is the care he got from Fox Therapy, excellent meals and , for the most part, very caring care givers who helped him along this journey. There is no question if we had to go back for whatever reason, we would choose Grace Commons.
My elderly parents had an unsavory experience trying to learn more about Grace Commons. Two calls requesting a tour were not returned over the course of a month. When a tour was arranged after the third call, it was a humiliating experience for them. They apparently were not dressed to impress the person who provided the tour, who asked questions about their prior jobs and retirement income, and expressed doubts whether they could afford living at the facility. My mother has been at Grace Commons for the past two years. It has truly been a wonderful experience. The facilities are immaculate, the dining is great, and the staff are very attentive and caring. (I mostly interacted with Dawn, who is awesome!) The daily activities help build meaningful friendships, and community. Mom has been very happy there, and it has been a great experience for our family.
