I worked with Katy for almost a year after my accident. I can’t tell you how impressed and happy I was working with her. Recovering from a concussion was not easy but Katy helped ease me back reassuring me that things would get better if I followed along with her exercises and rest. A friend's recommendation brought me to GPT at Lake City. I have been dealing with knee pain and after two unsuccessful tries at PT previously, GPT and Rachel made me finally realize how much PT really does help. Rachel was super patient with me (and my cussing), the front desk staff was incredibly kind, and they took my insurance (Cigna). Billing was prompt and easy to take care of on their website or in person after an appointment.
Crystal is amazing and the PT staff seems top notch. However, beware that if you miss two apts in a year, even if you are attending weekly apts long term, all your apts will be cancelled indefinitely. I missed two (maybe 3?) almost 6 months apart in my 2 years with GPT. Once because childcare cancelled that morning, once because I had a sick baby. A great place for physical therapy. I had a bit of back pain I wanted to take care of and in just a few sessions, I saw quite a bit of improvement. Rachel was great, and was very patient with me even when I was messing up the workouts. They took my insurance (Regence) and so far I haven’t seen anything unexpected on that end. The office staff is really friendly and worked with me well over the phone when I was first scheduling all my appointments. Keep up the good work, guys!
