I called this law office today because I was interested in getting information about my case and potentially becoming a client. However, before even listening to my situation or answering a single question, they immediately asked for a consultation fee. I found this very disappointing and unprofessional. As a potential client, I expected at least a brief conversation or basic guidance before being asked for payment.
