Some of the furniture is traditional in a non-stylish way, but some of the other stuff is perfectly simple, and a lot of the pieces bear in mind the cramped space within a NYC apartment (like the platform bed with the optional fitting drawers). I've had an unfinished bookcase for at least three years now and it's fine (meant to paint it myself but haven't as yet gotten around to it). For furniture that is solidly built you can't beat the price.
Thrilled with the quality – I walked in to this location after finding a table at the Murray Hill location that I liked. I found the same table, but they weren't able to deliver for about 1 week at a fee of $35. I explained that I could pick up as I lived around the block. The nice young guy that worked there agreed to sell me the floor model for 10% off and he would carry it to my apartment immediately. And so he did!
