When I moved to Raleigh, I was pleased with the scooter options: Byrd and Lime. Shortly after, these scooters left due to a higher tax imposed by the city council. In comes GOTCHA - probably the worst scooter company I've ever used. How they managed to get into Raleigh, I don't know. Here are the issues with Gotcha: 1. The app constantly is down or not working. Don't trust The Gotcha Group. The owner Sean Flood is dishonest. He does not honor the contracts he signs. He will lie to your face and never give it another thought. I sold him the rights to the carts he uses for advertising, he was supposed to pay me within 90 days. 4 years later he has only paid about 10% of the contract. He claims because he can't buy the carts anymore (which is due to him not honoring the contract with the factory - didn't buy the number of carts required), he claims he can't get parts for the carts ( I... read more

Our 3-month campaigns didn't produce any results and we ran them at multiple colleges. This part isn't what disappointed me, as I understand there is a risk when advertising that you get zero response. What disappointed me is that Gotcha had to move our ads from our preferred campus selections to campuses that really weren't our target campus because the ads kept being disqualified by the campus.
